Nadine Lustre and Baron Geisler shone bright at the 2024 PMPC Star Awards for Movies as they took home the coveted Best Actress and Best Actor awards, respectively.
Lustre bagged the Best Actress trophy for her performance in the 2022 techno-horror film “Deleter,” while Geisler was recognized as Best Actor for his role in the 2022 tearjerker film “Doll House.”

Meanwhile, the Elijah Canlas starrer 2022 horror film “Livescream” won three production awards, including Carmela Danao for Indie Movie Production Designer of the Year, Fatima Nerikka Salim and Immanuel Verona for Indie Movie Sound Engineer of the Year, and Lawrence Ang for Indie Movie Editor of the Year.
Held this year at the Winford Hotel and Casino, Manila, on Sunday, Nov. 24, the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies is an annual award-giving body recognizing the country’s mainstream and independent movies.
